We bought a hat for Koby from this shop (3 pesos and some shampoo). The old granny next door immediately started asking for something; we gave her some soap but she looked distinctly disappointed. 'She wants caramels' our helpful shopkeeper said (Silvana called this 'selective begging')! We actually bought some caramels 2 days later and deliberately walked this way to give her a couple. Unfortunately we were spotted and followed by the Havana WI equivalent who all smiled foolishly and hopefully if we looked round. We eventually escaped into a bar
