Behind the glass (no loitering in this area so the photo is not that clear!) is a boat called the 'Granma' which Castro purchased in Mexico to transport the 80 odd revolutionaries to Cuba. The 15-seater craft is held in some reverence - I wonder if locals know the name is an endearment for an old lady
