Eliades Ochoa (he of Buena Vista Social Club fame) - a very good night out but the venue had 3 wardrobe-sized air conditioners on the go and Sheila and John from our party wrapped themselves in the tablecloth before giving up altogether and sitting on a sofa behind the air-con units. One by one we all peeled away and joined them

Hello, you're so lucky to have seen Eliades Ochoa live!! I've wanted to see him, I'm hoping I'll have a chance when I go back to Cuba in Jan. Where was the concert held? How did you hear about the concert?

The concert was at some lovely hotel in Havana but I can't remember the name I'm afraid - we saw a flyer and booked it at our own hotel
Do you have a blog on Cuba? It was such a fabulous place to go
