The tubs of flowers are on wheels and in the evenings they are moved across the road to pedestrianise the Piazza Tasso (although when the traffic police are not looking a lot of scooters chance it).
P.S. Tasso wrote an offensive poem in th 15th century and was banned from Sorrento. When he became rich and famous he was invited back and everything was named after him!
