The owner of this cafe had once been to Belgium and wanted to recreate his experience. Judging by the crush in there Belgian cuisine is not that popular in Holland. Shortly after sitting down a mother and daughter came in and hemmed us in on one side, and then a man with a dog sat right next to us on the other. Either spatial awareness is different in The Netherlands or they felt rather intimidated by the walls
