The motorway, built in the 80s before the crisis. Farmers dry their rice by the side of the road and cyclists are often found in the fast lane. There is no central reservation in places to enable the motorway to be used as an airstrip in times of war. We are on our way to Havana where there is rumoured to be an ATM (it took an hour and a half to find but yes, it is true. We then discovered that our hotel would give cash on a debit or credit card but the wait would have been just as long) Posted by Picasa
